Ah ok didnt know that. Figured it had to be in there for a reason as it wouldnt be the best thing for flow.

Turbochargers: getting power is like stealing candy from a baby lol

I do see your point though. Its not a huge restriction just wondered why a stock exhaust especially would have that split in it due to cost of manufacture and the added complexity.

Hmmm...unusual as I said in the PM, after market performance system lists the same from the XT, F6, XR6 and XR6T....maybe the aftermarket system is made to fit all, but the OEM ones are slightly different.

Was the resonator hitting the body?

Had to remove the N/A resonator, bedcause the pipework between the 2nd muffler and cat had the flange in a different place. Right where the resonator was lol

The part where is spilts goes tight against the floorpan, so splits for clearance.

This is the first time i've ever had an actual gain that i can feel from a catback. Pulls much harder all over the place. Even chirped the tyres twice by mistake. :/

Camshaft and cylinder head work maybe?

I really like the colour of your FG. You don't see too many FG Falcons in Mount Isa.
