FG Mk II was released about the same time as the VE II.But theyve had the noose around their necks since what...2011? Theyve barely been moving Falcons in the last 3 years.
Why on earth pull this out when the horse has well and truley bolted. I know theyll have a **** load of engines sitting around the Geelong and Broadie plants doing nothing but #### me they could have announced a revised model when the VF came out or the VE S2 with some nice upgrades and perhaps atleast made it look like they were still remotely interested in making some money till they shut down.
The XR8 is using the current GT engine which, depending on which magazine you read, puts out just more or just less power at the rear wheels. How is 310 close to 430?
It's still impressive but not close to the GTS. Now if they did a turbo 8 I'd be interested. Or even better, a V8 territory turbo.

Was always going to happen. What was different about it? Genuine question because when I was looking at FGs I couldnt really see anything that youd rave on about.
The VEII wasnt anything hugely spectacular either, but the interior was revamped, had a slightly revised rear suspension setup, E85 out of the gates. I mean it had enough there to make you think about upgrading.
My main point is, had they have done this 3 years ago, they may not have been counting down the days so to speak and I wish they had of done this years ago because it certainly wouldve made me think a lot harder at buying a Falcon.
