I know it would have been a tonne of paper work, but unloading into the bonnet and engine bay might have stopped them from doing what eventuated.

Already drove over spike strips in the clip.
Also, having watched first hand vicpol shooting pistols at the range there would’ve been a better chance of them shooting a bystander than the tyre sadly.
