I think you could be on to something mate. I feel for the young girl that owns it. Hence me reaching out on here for assistance to attempt to fix it for her as cheaply as possible.

I have checked that earth. It is there and good and solid. Has new crank angle sensor fitted also. I guess the thing is, it is a VT how much do you invest in it? For me its now about knowing what the issue is. Curiosity.

My thoughts too mate. With no background history on the car it is proving to be a big pain in the backside diagnosing the issues.

Ok. Have tried again today with this thing. Even plugged in another ECM and bypassed again to get it to crank. The engine pops and backfires through the intake with flames at times. Double, triple checked firing order. To confirm should be 1,4,5,2,3,6? My tether is wearing thin. Lol

Tested spark for some time. To be honest I feel it was playing the game. I will try as you have suggested, however this morning with the Launch connected. It showed constant power to injectors. Been a fun day. Greatly appreciate all the help. Generally I can nut this stuff out but this one has...

I think the mode light is operating normally. As stated. It flashes on lock. Unlock light stops and then begins to flash after approx 30 seconds.

Furthervto this. Plugged Noid light in to injector plug.. Same thing flashes once on initial crank then very intermitantly otherwise one flash on each key reset.

Ok. I just ran a test I have another fuel rail. Plugged all that in and then got the misso to crank it. Injectors sprayed once and then stopped, reset ignition and same again. Seems injector pulse is not working correctly, any suggestions?

100% I have checked firing order a few times. All appears as it should.

Checked spark on all cylinders this morning. Plenty of spark on all of them. Hence the head scratching. No fault codes. Appears to have fuel. Has spark but wont go..

Tried start ya bastard, does fire for a bit longer but pops through tge intake. Checked 02 sensors they seem to be working as they should. Fuel relay is working. Checked that on scan tool this morning. On when cranking and plenty of fuel getting to the rail.

Car died on the highway. The cowboys that worked on it did an engine swap. I programmed another new key for it this morning still no go. Can smell fuel. Tries to fire here and there but thats it.
