Never tried it but I hear its a good idea to cover up electrics etc with glad wrap or tin foil to avoid the water getting in... Just rememeber to remove it before driving off!!

Hey there My 99VT SS 5.7 6sp manual has a loud clunking noise that sometimes shows up under 'reasonable' acceleration. Sounds like something knocking around in the boot (but its not!!) Also sometimes jumps out of first gear when pulling away. I think the clutch has a pretty high bite point...
