Hey all, I've just swapped the face plate for a series 1 berlina, same part numbers. Who in perth can clear and rewrite the vin into the fascia?

Ok so confused now... also a side note, this sender unit next to the oil filter has only one wire, in a werid connector I have never seen before, it pops on and off like a cap. But is loose asf. It does look like a cylinder yes, and a sender for the gauge... as in this is where the gauge gets...

Hmm just a thought.. Would the switch/sensor/sender or whatever it is next to the oil filter play any role?

UPDATE: Today I replaced the oil pressure sensor at the back of the manifold with no success. plug, wires look all ok to me. What a bastard to get to. I also popped out the gauge itself, cant seem to find a fault here either..:confused:

Oil pressure gauge shoots straight to the top on the binnacle gauge when ignition is on ever since active autos touched my car. It was working perfectly before then. Anyone have any ideas where i should look for the problem?
