  • Hi Stewart. Its up and running, registered in South Australia. Not that big of a job if you have some mechanical knowledge. I am a truck mechanic by trade, and have done a few engine conversions over the years.
It goes very well. Great to have a truck that starts so easy, and has plenty of go. No fuel figures yet, as have only done short runs.
Give me an Email if you want any indepth info, as this forum doesnt handle big messages.
My email [email protected] Cheers, Ian.
G'day Ian, I saw on a post you're putting an LS1 into a '78 Chev ute. How easy was it to fit & get running & if it is on the road now, how does it go & what's the economy like? I'm asking because I'm thinking of buying a '77 2WD K5 Blazer & have thought about an LS1 as a possible option later on.
    Cheers Stewart
