does the remote just hoock up to the accessories wire?

:hit:I am truely appreciateive of all your assistance. Ordered a 4 channel Line level Converter a few moments ago. and i mostlikly will have loads of questions closer to when the time comes Sort of new to all this so hence the million questions haha.

sorry i responded to your message on my page. (my bad) anways ill sum it up i have not got 6x9's instead i hav the speakers located in the back seat drivers side and passangers side doors. It looks like where the 6x9s should go are welded shut aswell as covered by the carpet. I can mostlikly add the 6 x 9's meaning i should remove the speakers on the doors, but seen as they are good quality speakers and i have no real problem with them, can i not just run new cable for a line level converter but from the head unit instead of the speakers them selves? (obviously the lines feeding these speakers) you also mention your remote ran to a switch, does switch have to be any spicif switch or just a normal sngle pole single throw switch?

Hey mate. I, alike you am struggling to find information on how to perform the amp and sub mod. Im keen to hear your method with the line level converter. Just wondering if it will work with the vx head unit. Also how and where you ran the power leads etc. I understand its a big ask and hope you still hop on to read these messages. I want to keep my steering controls!
