im more concerned about the tailshaft and diff. cos its got the Trimatic auto in it now. ive been told the aussie 4 speed and the gates will line up but im not 100% sure bout that.

just had another look at it today.....i noticed when i ran the car 4 a while and reved it up the temp neddle did really get past cold, but as soon as i turned it off and left the ignition on the temp gauge needle went up to wat looked to be a normal reading. wats going on? possible alturnator...

just had a look at that sensor, the guage works fine when i earthed it at the needle on the temp went right up and came down fine to, so im thinking it could b that sensor, how much r they and where can i get one from?? Autobahn? Supercheap?

theres a sensor that goes onto the thermostat housin yeh?? through the top? and has three small black pipes coming out of it?

yeh i thought about the thermostat, but the motor get pretty hot theres no chance its staying closed i dnt reckon but i will test it or replace it anyways

i forgot to mention that my pop put some bullshit kill switch on the car to stop randoms from taking it, i hope that helps, and theres a whole heap of wires and stuff around the starter that u dnt usually find so we're thinking that the kill switch could be the problem and is linked up to the...

i was just replacing my battery lead clamps terminals same diff, and as i cut off the clamps i had a look at he wires and they've got green stuf in ot so there all corroded so ill replace those, could be a big part of my problem im thinking

yeh there nice and tight they already were so, but just like the rest of my motor its got oil and greese build up on it.
