Hi I have a VY with a problem with the boot release. The clasp in the boot became loose and the only way I could open it was the quick release behind the back seat. I then tighted the clasp and mad sure it was centred and square, closed the boot and still had the same problem. This time whebn I wen to open using the emergency release it came off in my hands. Now I have a boot that I cant open and cant even get into through the back seat as my VY is fitted with factory LPG. I cant even see where the yellow emergency release is attached to the boot release cable.
Any ideas?
