Good call Timmah, globes looked fine but were actually stuffed.

Check your fuses, had a vn that did exactly same thing in the end was only a fuse that had blown can't remember which one but was under dash.

Yeah checked earths and looking at wiring diagram inboard and outboard highs share same earths through high beam relay yet outboard highs work and checked inboards with multi meter with highs on and no earth at housing, maybe time to take to auto electrician.

So does this mean it's a earthing problem inside the headlights? if so seems strange that it would happen to both headlights at the same time?

VX II Calais inboard high beams won't come on, globes, relays and fuses all good and has constant power to globes, outboard highs work so what could be the prob?
