i'd personally spend a touch more and get a big block transplant 454ci chev, cheap running donks are available and just rebuild it with mild cam, a tickle up on the heads, high comp pistons etc.... nothin beats the chassis twistin power of bb chevs.... they fit in very easy and fill the engine bay

it depends on a lot of factors like run in proceedure, type of oil/ fuel, etc...........but round the 170 rwkw is pretty much the norm on a moderate km car most 250kw hsv only had round 185 rwkw

they fit straight on, dont think you get much of a power gain just make sure all your sensors match and vacuum hoses do as well

go the storm ute its far better value for money and only a limited number are built

not 6 cyl not that stoopid!!! :w00t: manifold was also off 5 litre just the sensors pain in the asses!! (senators only come in 8's) just not as many sensors on vt other then that identical - problem sorted any ways (got nother vrmanifold) so thankyou all for ya help mrs happy!! :o

yup did bought a newy.. hey it was worth a shot!! now enginelight on so stuffing round with sensors anyone wanna buy a vt manifold.. hehehee mrs dont like it as a display peice in lounge..lmfao~!!

Yes!!! replace solenoid as for other one.. not sure as messing with the mrs senator at moment as engine light on trying to change sensor. let me think... :bop:

Hi Y'all.. im in trouble!! just pulled the mrs VR senator apart as coil **** it self and thought whilst im at why not put the Vt manifold on as vr one badly corroded.. well um it doesn't work as it appears the VR manifold has more sensors on it then the VT.. does any one know how to get round...
