Won't start when hot

After having ignition problems eg spark breaking down, I've replaced the ignition module and coil and now it seems to have solved the problem but the hot start issue is still there could it be the starter is on its way out as it starts when cold but not when it's hot thanks in advance

When you say it won't start, do you mean that it doesn't crank over (which could point to the starter motor), or that it cranks OK but doesn't start?

I had a problem with my old VS that it would start no probs when cold but if you drive it for about 45 minutes or more turn it off then try to start soon after it would not. A mates so called auto electrician buddy replaced the starter. Same problem. Turned out to be the battery in the end, which was only about 2.5 years old.

Yeah it could be the battery, my v2 monaro would not always start when it was hot and it turned out to be the battery.
