Help!!! Do i need a new radiator?

Can i block this pipe of or do i need a new rad? 07 VE Commodore v6, I have been told its a bleed pipe do i really need it?

Safest bet would be to replace the radiator mate rather than try and do a bodgy patch up job that won’t last radiators in ve commodores are known to fail but it’s not a major job to replace it

Get a new radiator before the top radiator hose snaps off as well. Those rads only last around 200k before the hose necksnstart snapping off.
