whats needed to make a getrag into a single mass clutch?

After thinking about this I really doubt it. The Getrag dual mass flywheel is likely a lot thicker than the T5 flywheel to fit the sprung mechanism inside, the aftermarket single mass Getrag flywheels likely takes this thickness into account.

Don't forget the flywheel bolts. The dual mass has longer bolts than a single mass flywheel and is, I suspect, the real reason for the crankshaft dowels that the Getrag's flywheel uses. Immortality might be able to chime in here - I remember him saying a while ago that it is the friction between the flywheel and the crankshaft flange that locates the flywheel and not the dowels. Since longer bolts stretch more for a given tension than do short bolts maybe dowels provide a measure of safety not needed for single mass flywheels.
