My VS III V8 Ute died today and the NRMA guys said he was 99% sure it is the Fuel Pump.......so has anyone got any useful hints for replacing it? Any help is appreciated.

Ok, over the weekend my power steering has developed another symptom, it's shudders at low revs/in a tight turn and make the belt slip(the belt is plenty tight enough). Any thoughts?

My ute is a V8 so it doesn't have an Idler Pulley, the power steering pump mounting is the tensioning point for the belt.

Any thoughts on what might be wrong with my power steering pump in my VS III to make it whine like a supercharger? It's got plenty of fluid. The only other symptom is that it's been groaning on cold mornings.

.....more on the symptom, I only get a puddle of coolant under the car when I have been on a short drive and the car has sat for a while. I don't get any puddle of coolant after a long drive when the car has got warm.

You haven't had any problems with the front end being misaligned?

Hi Infus10n, Just wondering if you any troubles lowering your ute? Is it right that you used King Springs Super Lows? I've lowered my VS III Ute V8 with Pedders springs and have had all sorts of problems getting the thing to sit evenly from side to side.

Yeah I thought of bending the guard out, but it's really both the top and bottom/back of the front guard. As well 1/2 an inch could be under-estimating it slightly. Basically it just looks weird. I will try and post some pics later.

Well, when you look at the car from the front the passenger side front wheel is sitting almost flush with the guard and the drivers side is about 1/2 an inch inside. According to Pedders the Camber is correct, their comment was that there must be some sort of body alignment problem.
