I am installing a lukey 2.5' catback (bolt on) to my VS sedan, when i reattach the centre pipe and muffler to the cat do i need to use gasket glue or anything like that to stop it leaking or does the phlange work well enough?

to get it off i sprayed with wd-4o and then pulled down really hard and it came off

I got it off!! quick question, do i need to use gasket glue or anything to put my lukey 2.5' centre muffler onto the cat? or do i just put it on and then tighten the phlange thingy

a mechanic mate told me to use oxy, any info guys? even my friends who know VS exhausts are confuzzled.. :confused: i have tryed oil, wd40 and crc and dont tell me to hit it with a hammer i have been bashing the #### out of it hahaha

I've removed all rubber hangers and i've tryed puling it as hard as i can in all directions and it wont come off, it can hold the weight of the muffler plus the weight of me pulling down. :rofl2:

hello all, my VT clunks into 2nd randomly from 1st and sometimes from 2nd to 3rd. its a high pitch metal on metal sound. my other mate said his VT with only 80,000kms did the same thing the other day but he said it has never done it before and only did it once. is this bad or nothing to worry about?
