Just grabbed the "MACE PERFORMANCE INTAKE MANIFOLD GASKET KIT TO SUIT HOLDEN ECOTEC" set, should I use RTV sealant around all the ports on the gasket surface as well as the 4 corners? TIA

Well I might be able to get hold of a VY Berlina instead of a VXII Berlina, what are peoples thoughts? The VXII looks to be more reliable and handle better than the VY (did they do a series II in the VY?)....

Thanks kangavxss, I found that link and the manual made available is some sort of generic ellery/haynes style workshop manual not the genuine GMH one...................................but kudos anyway (I lost my train of thought there for a moment while looking at your avatar).

Well I've FAQ'd, forum searched, ebayed and googled and haven't been able to come up with a current source for a copy of a genuine VX Commodore GMH Factory service manual (paper based or soft copy), if anyone has any leads I would be eternally grateful.

Thanks for all the ideas, so from the feedback it appears the best way is to break it on the positive side of the coil with a relay? The immobiliser I have is rated at 30amp so could go the cheap way and let that do the work alternately.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Do I cut the negative side of the coil (this will then run the switching voltage through the immobiliser) or the positive side (constant voltage)?

Well I can confirm that it is not coming from under the rocker cover gasket seal, could it be head gasket?

I have a VK Black 202 with an oil leak coming from behind the thermostat housing, it looks like there is a gasket there which has failed or moved. Can someone confirm if this is serious (cylinder head problem) and what gaskets I should be ordering? Many Thanks for any info.

el are too big for VK. The fans hang over the edge of the radiator and you end up pulling air through the sides instead of through the radiator.
