Ended up putting a jack under the trans so I could take the other bolts out and match them up at coventry fasteners. $2 later and all sorted. If anyone else is interested I used M10 x 25mm hex head and M10 x 15mm Cap Screws.

New brake booster in, pain in the ass of a job. Relatively straight forward to do just a couple of fiddly nuts behind the dash to make it difficult. Big improvement over the other booster even before it completely died.

Took a chance and went out and got a second hand booster. What a pain in the ass to fit, was all easy until it came to those two nuts behind the dash. Was definitely a dodgy booster though as the new one works perfect, car really pulls up well now.

No as I hadn't exposed them. I just undid one of the caliper bolts and loosened the other so that the caliper could be lifted up exposing the pads and keeping everything else in place

Yeah popped the lid off, made sure the rubber thing inside the lid and the lid were back on properly too. Checked it a couple of times now actually, I was really hoping for an easy (cheap) fix haha

I believe you may need to remove the water pump pulley to get at some of the bolts. I can't remember if they're water pump bolts or timing cover bolts though. Also some of the bolts go through water galleries and can be quite badly corroded. If they are don't reuse them, replace them. I tried...

When I changed mine I put the front of the car on ramps and a jack under the trans to support it and allow me to adjust the height. Then just got under there, undid the bolts, put the new mount in and bolted it all back up, easy done. I also cleaned the crap off the crossmember but im anal.

As far as I know the internals are the same however I believe the bellhousing is different. As the bellhousing is not a removable or swappable part you can only match a v8 trans to a v8 and a v6 trans to a v6. I'm not 100% sure on that though so hopefully some one else can confirm or not

Shouldn't need to poke it up that far to unblock it. Theres a bit of distance between the opening and the core. But it is better to be safe than sorry :)

There is usually a few on ebay. Strange that you couldn't get one from the big chains, last time I went to supercheap they had one on the shelf. I think in supercheaps system it comes up as 'Engine Mount - Rear' maybe try asking about that and see how you go.

Sounds like a blocked drain pipe. When the air con is used it creates condensation around the evaporator core which is inside the heater box. This condensation is supposed to run out the drain pipe in the bottom of the heater box and out the car. If it's blocked it'll pool in the drain pipe and...

Wouldn't recommend carby cleaner on the IAC itself though. Get some of the spray that's designed especially for cleaning electronics. CO2 cleaner I think it is.
