Has anyone used any of these seals? The Resto Country ones are the same one as Rare Spares but the Aveska ones are very slightly different in the rubber shape. Same colour grey as each other.

I had the same thing on mine and changed the number plate globes back to original. I had changed them to brighter white LED type. Apparently the lower wattage/powered LED type of globes make the car think a globe is out or similar. That's what I was told. Worked for me. Good luck.

I think the wreckers would be the only way to source one. As long as it's in pretty good condition without damage, it can be re-painted, etc. to look much better. Were they standard on certain models or always an option?

Yes I tried this a few days ago but had no luck. I just went back to original and all sorted. At least I don't have that small red light on my dash now.

Yes this was my next step. Luckily it was the number plate globes that surprised me. I'll just leave the original type of globe in there and not worry about upgrading to a whiter cleaner light. Thanks for the reply and suggestion.

Yes I did this and replaced the LED's with the original globes I had. Took the car for a drive and PERFECT - NO DASH ERROR. I was very surprised as the fault states 'a bulb failure of the tail lights is indicated'. I just didn't think the number plate globes/bulbs would've been the issue...
