Hi guys. Tried searching. Is changing the tail light globe (corner one, not the boot one) as much of a nightmare as I've heard? Does the bumper need to be dropped just to access the assembly's globe holder for the brake/tail light or is it simpler than that? Thanks legends

gohrdorgomad - Interesting. I've called a paint shop then Holden and finally ROH (who supplied them until 04) with no result. It was originally a "wet powdwer coating" process which sounds odd in itself. According to ROH they stopped supplying GMH after VY2 and rims came from China after that...

My daughter's 04 VY2 Calais' standard rims are a bit shabby looking. Does anybody know if there is a paint code for them or a very close match so I can freshen them up? Its a good solid car just seen a bit too much sun I think. Thanks in advance

If you go into any Holden dealer with proof of ownership and your VIN they can print out a sheet with all codes including keys and BCM numbers

So many around, puts me off, almost every 2nd car is a VE but that's what you get with a 7 year model run.

A dying battery can cause a lot of gremlins, but total power loss I'd be betting ignition switch.

New sway bar pins, radius rod and sway bar bushes replaced with Nolathane. New genuine strut rubbers and bearings by Holden yesterday. Rattle still remains over sharp bumps and road joins. Unless there might be a steering rack issue, a tie rod end or something in that area that could cause this...

If the spoiler is factory fitted and has its own light, the window light is deleted. Not sure if the wiring is there somewhere or not. If you have the window light, the spoiler was not factory, maybe dealer or 3rd party but again, unsure about the wiring sorry..

I run King Ultra Lows all round on 235/40/18 and my rear wear is fine but have a Nolathane camber kit fitted. Aligns to within camber spec anyway.
