Do you have a pic of the twin throttle bodies on your ecotec? Wouldnt mind seeing the set up, do you have twin pods or run the pipe/s into your air box?

I would give them a good clean (remove them and use a good quality avaporative surface cleaner), use a plastic primer and follow the instructions, use regular enamel paint or acrylic if you want but remember many light coats are better than one or two heavy coats. I'm doing mine today too, so...

Just a personal opinion here but i just reckon exhausts sound $h!t with a hollow cat. It's as if you can hear the dodgyness. I agree with bax entirely, it's pointless and also makes your car stink.

Just wondering how easy it is to swap out a factory series-1 vt tape/radio for a factory cd player from the later vt-vx range? I was also wondering what size the factory speakers are in the doors of the vt's, and wether they have factory locations for speakers in the parcel shelf? Cheers.

The standard cai on the vt's look like they work ok, i'd just put a decent flowing filter in it. That vn with the pod sticking out of it is funny as hell.

This is my VP, looks fairly stock on the outside and that's how it's staying :yeah: Not too modded up performance wise yet. Mods are: Mild cam, forgies and chromoly rings, FOAM tune (of course ;)), 2.5" cat back, cai with K&N filter, brass button clutch.

I was thinking of grabbing myself a little sc14 blower and just running 6-8 psi depending on the condition of it, maybe a small cooler that fits stealth(ish) if one comes up for cheap. I really want to retro-fit a factory s/charged ecotec and manual box, but that won't be until tax time next...
