Yeah mate. It's close but it definitely clears.
Out of interest, the headers fitted with no mods whatsoever.
Sorry all, I forgot to mention, yes I have a roto-fab installed.
I think the bulk of the gains netted so far are in the tune. Sure bolting on the...
Yeah mate, they fit.
No. You have to use the HSV cats. Then it's a straight bolt up.
[ATTACH] [ATTACH] [ATTACH] Hi all, it's been a while. Thought I'd share this shot of the factory cast manifolds of my MSE. It really shows how...
The L77 is tuned for it. That said, there's more to e85 than just the higher octane / additional knock protection allowing for more timing.
Unless the car is designed for it. Even in a stock L77, adding say 50% e85 to a tank adds some power and torque.
The extra power and torque has a lot to do with it also.
Yes, the auto L77 has AFM. Personally i've never heard of police variants having this disabled. They may though?
In the VF (unlike the VE)...
PS4S, game over.
Nice. Can you advise what the kit includes and how much it is?
I got butt hurt just reading this WHS crap. There was no sign in sight. Can I sue?
I've seen them for $1k on eBay.
@snortings Have you thought to ask the service manager / family friend to come to your house in the morning and start the car?
My VE2 SV6 Sportwagon had a factory optioned reverse camera in the rear vision mirror. It was a brillant location and worked great. That would be...
Don't buy a Mazda CX5 2.2L diesel. Absolute lemons!!! I hope your Mazda 6 is a good thing. Sad to see you leave the fray Ron.
Didn't know you were that vintage Revster. Respect! If I were in your situation, I'd just buy a cheap fridge and hang onto the HSV for life.
That and the failed aluminium diesel engine in the CX5...
Yeah true. With smaller numbers of utes and Directors, they were always going to sell out quicker. But clearly Holden thought they'd sell less of...
In other words, it's simple supply and demand, econmics 101. The point we're missing here, is that demand for Motorsports was, and will continue...
Mine is the same, 2013 L77. 80,000k's, no issue.
I'd go shadow chrome.
As VC says. Its not low pressure causing the wear.
That's a great setup for track days, no doubt. Turn in and out would be sharp and precise. Not so great for the street though I suspect. How is...
I've always been told that once
radials start wearing unevenly, they continue to do so, even if the issue e.g. camber, castor, toe or inflation is...
As you would know Ron, a wheel alignment won't stop the outer edge wearing out faster and not lasting as long as the rest of the tread. But, it...
Yep, cars from the 60's, 70's and 80's were inherently unreliable and often quite fragile. I lost count of the number of M20/21's I broke. Axles...
No, not you. But his spitfire magnum is in that mix. As is my spitfire MSE. Sorry for being cryptic.
Yeah, it was a fantastic experience. Unforgettable
It is a great system. No question. But, trying to release the clutch on a slippery ramp, with a 1 or 2 tonne boat and trailer behind you is a real...
I agree. Towing a boat out of the water on a wet ramp is another situation where it's necessary.
It works very well. I am good at reverse parking. Yet, I use this rlfeature a lot on some very tight spaces. It's always virtually mm perfect.
Correct. The stability control bars are the only difference between the 1600 & 2100kg tow bars.
Too true mate. That makes all the difference.
Yeah, I had AFM tweaked in the tune. It cuts in sooner and hangs on longer on inclines. So, a broader operating range for the AFM. Well that's...
Yeah it's hot as Hades!
The X factor in unsprung weight may be explained due to our use of aluminium and the Yanks preference for aluminum.:D
Same. But moine is GREEEEEN!
Wagga to Sydney yesterday. Tuned L77 on 98Ron. On cruise 120k's all the way. Bar a few spirited overtakes. Up to 44° heat for a large...
