thanks for the reply guys...just to clarify its the same amp and sub that was in my vy, all the cables seem to be fine, its a 12" kicker comp sub with a kicker amp at 4ohms not sure about the RMS. Im going to have a go at the adjusting all the gain on the speakers and sub tomorrow ill let u know...

i had a knocking sound only when i was in drive and stationary, was coming from the glove box area/behind it...turned out it was some a\c component rattling against the firewall

this happended to me recently, mechanic said my inlet manifold gaskets needed replacing as they were leaking, got the job done, no problems for over 4 months now

yeah i agree here, iv had a listen under the bonnet with the engine running and its not coming from there. Im all full up with uni atm so havent got the time to try and get it fixed, but will def want too in the near future, likewise mate could u let me know if u find out what it is. cheers

i replaced mine with a pioneer single DIN with the pouch underneath, just with the fascia (as sweefu said) get one the same colour as the rest of your inserts, as both black and grey are available, all up including the fascia cost me $450 installed

the tyres are the right size for a vy, i wouldnt know about the wheels, im assuming they would fit as alot of people on here have hsv wheels on there vy/vz so i dont think you will have a problem. what made u get rid of the ford?
