Crow cams hydraulic roller lifters. I’m looking to install new lifters and on the mace website is says that you need to set the pretension upon installing them and they also say they are a stock replacement just wondering if that is necessary

Alright I also just herd that I can also get to them by removing rockers and pushrods and pulling them threw then grabbing them. Is there anything I need to look out for like clearance wise or anything when installing them again ?

Hey peoples. I’m just wondering if I can have some tips on replacing the lifters. Do I need to take the heads off ?. I’ve tried looking on YouTube but there is nothing. Can I get to them in the valley ?. Just wondering if there is an easier way anyone has been able to do it. Cheers

Thanks for the comments bous I got it in eventually I put the drivers side in first then loosend the passenger side engine mount then dropped it into the k frame holes then dropped the engine down. Went in like a glove

Hey guys I’m trying to put a vy Ecotec into my vu Ute and the engine mounts aren’t lining up with the mounting spots in the chassis by around 45mm should I take the mounts off my old engine and put them on or is there any other way around it or is it completely different in general. Thank you

There is like a 15 mm gap between the box and engine the whole way around and the dowels are clear but I just can’t seem to get it off the input shaft.
