Thanks for that. I have been told that the center bearing coupling is different and plus i don't have a VT Tail shaft does anyone know if i can just swap that part as i first asked?

I would advise just changing clusters completely i changed a LCD in mine to find out it was not that and it was a part on the circuit board that died. A new cluster is only about 200 and it cost me 100 to get the LCD replaced which i needed to get from a donor cluster. So if i had my time again...

Cheers chargedvx6 the PCM i had in it the VT one did not have DLTK where as the VY one i just purchased did so hopefully it is a winner and works this time! Ill find out this afternoon!

Yeah but i dont think the fuel pump controller is stopping it from running tho. I was told there is 8 pins that need to be altered in a VT PCM to make it work in a VY

Thanks for your help guys! I have got passed that point, although now i have linked the PCM/BCM the car starts and runs for about 30 seconds maybe less and cuts out and also the thermo fans are staying on. The diagnostics show nothing wrong. Do you have any further ideas?
