I understand the amplifier, but you can get 6.5 inch pioneer coaxials for about as low as $30-40, i know cause i put a set at one stage into a VW Polo, with an aftermarket deck, and the sound quality was worse than the stock setup, ....

what brand are these speakers, they look very cheap, if their cheapo's, then their probably no better than the stock ones, and not worth your effort, seriously..Why butcher your ride to get a set of 20 buck speakers in there??

What type of pioneer 6 inch and 6x9's are they?? If their just cheap 6 inch coaxials, and entry level 6x9's, i wouldnt imagine this would be a huge improvemt, if you have a VX berlina../ How many speakers came out in the brelina??

I've taken my rear bumper off -VP and i'd like to sand it back and give it a resparay. I'm thinking i'd just use wet/dry sandpaper to sand it back, hit it with some primer, then get the paint colour off the chart, and have it pressure packed and spray it on. Questions,, has anyone had experience...

I was told by somebody yesterday, that the Auto shifter, can be modified, something to do with the lockouts on it, so you can manually put it back to second, without having to pull the tab, as it would otherwise just move back to third. Does anybody know about this, this guy also told me that...

I think VT SS wheels are pretty much one of the best suiting wheels for upgrading a VN/VP, 17's, very easy to find these days...and they don't expose your factory brakes either, which is a good thing if your not planning on upgrading them.

There's a manafactuer on Ebay at the moment, their selling copies of VZ Clubsport R8 wheels (19 inch) their a slightly darker colour to the originals, but still look real nice. The buy now price is $595, for the set of 4 brand new. I'm trying to put the link up for it so others can see.

I have a pair of King Spring heavy duty Standard Lows, for front VP, they've done around 12 months work, no use to me so if you wanna pay postage, you can have them..

i was gonna start a thread but i'll just use this. I also have a VP,and will be purchasing some wheels very shortly... now i grew up around VN, VP's and back then, (10+yrs ago..) if you had 17's on your VP, they were considered BIG, and anything larger, was reserved strictly for the show scene...

I got told by a guy at king springs, that they are marked L/R cause the higher side goes on the drivers side, mine were only standard low though, so this may/may not apply to you..

yeah that was RMS not peak, im still curious cause there was another thread about a set of alpine typr-r's, rated at 70 watt rms, but coming alive with sound when given 150-200 watt rms, i just want them to work at their full potentioal i guess. Seeing as i forked out over $200 for them, i want...

mine does this on idle aswell, VP V6, but i also get the same noise under full acceleration at higher revs, as i don't have a tacho, im guessing between 4000-5000rpm, sounds really nasty too at those revs, does your do this aswell?

Was going over captain cook bridge on my normal route, when i looked down and noticed a large section of botany bay had dried up forming a salt lake which was stable enough for me drive on:bang:
