Also want to ask is there any reason why the white metal bearing at the end of the balance shaft has to be removed? I can tap the oil gallery from the bottom and it’s being a bastard to get out

Also took heads to be checked for warpage, vaccume sealing, and cracks and it came up all good just needed a tiny bit shaved off

I read somewhere on this fourm it holds codes for something like 50 key turns?

When you say cycle reset does that mean everytime you turn it of and on it resets?

Does anyone know how many starts the code will stay in the system for? Should the code be gone instantly after you fix the issue?

And still getting code 47 does anyone know how long it takes codes to clear after you fix the issue?

Update, changed cas took it for a drive and got the same thing, random sudden loss of power for a second around corners and over bumps, tacho drops to zero and engine light comes on any ideas? Happens with a full tank of fuel

Hi, was changing the crank angle sensor and found this plug that comes from the same junction as the cas in the loom but it wasent plugged into anything, can anyone tell me where it goes ive been looking for an hour i must be blind

Happens with over half a tank of fuel, it shouldn't be a swirl pot return line problem as i re did all the lines and made sure the return line and the pump was in the correct spot when changing the pump, i checked codes and got 47 cas so ill change that and see if it makes a difference, does...
