    No idea. Haven't done a scan with the failure showing. Just pops up with "alternator failure". Sometimes it pops up just long enough for the warning to sound, and then disappears. Other times it hangs around a bit. For the longer ones, my volt gauge drops to below 12v. But I can't really say...

    Just got mine running, but it's coming up with check powertrain. The thing is though, the warning keeps turning on and off every few seconds. Plugged the scanner in and it's showing coil 'e' being a problem. Would that be why the powertrain warning keeps turning on and off?

    Yeah nah sorry. Wasn't a Commodore forum. Think ICM is the ignition control module. From the pdf that @lout sent through, think it's controlled by the ecu on these. The pdf also talked about the start and run procedures.

    Runs rough and then stalls. It all happens within like a second. So it'll increase revs for the load, then go to drop like it normally does, but instead of coming back to idle, it shakes a quite bit and dies. Does the same thing if I rev it.

    Short answer no. There is no logo on it. Got it replaced about 6moths ago from Mr minit. Tried the original key, and samething. Think this has gone beyond what I am capable of diagnosing with my experience. Will try and get it to a shop and get someone to properly look at it.

    Yeah. Thinking I might have to take it to a shop. The key/fob battery are near new. Reconnected the battery and can still lock and unlock fine from the keyless, so it recognises it atleast. Will have to wait for the battery to charge again to try with it in neutral.

    So update. Is not the fuel pump or filter. Just replaced both and still having the same issue. When the car is "on" I cannot hear the fuel pump priming before start. Tried jumping the relay and am getting noise from the pump as soon as the ignition is on, however, still having the same issue...

    Nah so on the crewman it is in tank. But was wrong about not being able to change it. Other posts I'd read on the forum, while doing other jobs said that it was part of the assembly.

    Fuel filter is in tank. Have to replace the entire assembly to change it. While testing this afternoon, I got an svs code. Plugged in the scanner to have a look and all 6 coils "failed" so I'm leaning towards the ecu. Will have another look at the pump before I send it off.

    Will give it a go. Spoke to the fellas down at Repco as well this morning. A few of them have experience with commodores. Said to also check/test the maf sensor, and maybe the ecu. But that'll be last resort.

    Have got into the tank. Tested the pump and all seems fine. However couldn't see/hear the pump prime before starting. Fuel pump runs fine when cranking (accidentally shot fuel everywhere), but just doesn't seem to want to work when "running".

    Just an update. It seems to be happening at exactly the same moment everytime. I have a volt gauge and noticed that it seems to be happening when the motor switches from battery to alternator (volts go from 12 to 13, revs go up, engine dies). Would this indicate an electrical problem?
