im running a turbosmart fpr800 on my efi 355 that's being fed by a bosch 044 and it works good.

id be cleaning the throttle body and checking if the iac sensor is working properly....actually if it was me id just replace the iac there only cheap

Make sure the module is earthed properly ....I had a misfire with my 5 litre and we couldn't find it and it kept cooking the module and we replaced everything and it only stopped once we earthed the module properly...... we ran an earth wire from the module to the alternator bracket

At the moment its got tri y pacemakers twin 2.5'' hi flow cats into single 3'' centre muffler .....so we're cutting the extractors at the merge pipe so we can go 3'' collectors twin 3'' cats and twin hooker areo chamber mufflers but first ive gotta get this fuel cell mounted in the boot.

ok another update,I got the Calais back from the dyno and am happy with the tune at the moment I didn't hit the power figure I was after but I still have to get another tune soon once a few issues are sorted. The single 3'' exhaust is extremely restrictive and the tuner recommended a twin 3''...

i don't know if it will hit 400@tyres either deuce but the tuner knows all the specs and he rekons its achievable but ill wait and see.....i had some long talks with the engine builder before we started and we were both clear that we were talking hp@ the wheels...if it doesn't make the power...

im keen as to see what numbers it does....the goal is 400rwhp+....if it dosent get that ill put a few k's on it and then go a solid roller cam and tp single plane ,the tuner told me 400-450hp is achievable out of this combo but we might max out the 36lbs injectors trying to get there...so thats...

Another update, We cut the hole in the bonnet for the air filter,bolted up the extractors and power steering and started playing around with the throttle cable and kick down cable trying to figure out the throw it needs to be perfect. Hooked up all fuel and vac lines aswell as wired up the...

i think the filter should do the job wraith hahaha......theres a 2 inch super sucker under the throttle body as well. We looked at the tb with no spacer and any kind of filter would've ended up out the bonnet so I decided if its gunna go up through the bonnet it may as well look tuff at the same...

Another update for any body following this thread,I got the motor in yesterday but still got some more little things to sort out before its off to the dyno.

I had some more parts show up the other day,a brand new haltech platinum and some bosch 36lbs injectors so its almost ready to go in.....Cant wait

Update......Nothings bloody happened for a while now still waiting on the motor and it feels like he's had it forever.So ive just been painting bits and pieces and polishing others.There will be actual updates and photos as soon as something starts happening.

The au fans look really neat and work really well on my 5 litre also ya don't have to trim much off them,Im even running a switch to manually turn them on if your doin skids or if the temp sender happens to fail,Its worth doing I reckon.

Yeah that's what I thought aswell, it has got ultra low kings in the back at the moment, I would like it to be sitting lower but I still want to get over all the speed bumps they got up here so its a bit of a catch 22 I reckon.

yeah I probably could break even on them pretty easy but between me and my brother we got 4 cars here they will fit on I think I will keep them and my brothers getting the vq stato painted in January so they might even make an appearance on that for a bit.

Well while ive been waiting for the motor to be finished I decided to put some different wheels on and i got these 19's pretty cheap,I reckon they suit the car and look better then the 17's I had on there so they will do for now and I might still change them again once car is up and running.
