Yeah my 95 exec VS had a faux airbag wheel but no airbag or abs. I just changed it to a aftermarket wheel. Must be one of the last ones without the airbags

It must be a manufacturing fault as they all seem to blow the top connection right at the flared collar. And yeah for $250 its not a great expense but just a pain to get it all out and change over.

I had this happen and just got a new hose and a proper clamp. Tightened the **** out of the clamp onto the top pipe after cleaning the scale off. Still holding on but will eventually get around to it.

Could you turn the motor over to see if theres any resistance and maybe compression test?. or get one of those cheap boroscopes that hook up to you phone to check inside the cylinders for any damage. Quite possibly the cam installed wrong and valves hitting pistons?

If it was fine before they touched it I would be back and asking them to review the work done. Maybe the filter dropped off or something. I would get someone or yourself to video the problem if you can. Try disconnecting the battery overnight may it will reset something.

My Ve series 1 has Kapow coloured paint and its starting to peel the clear off the wing and above the drivers door. disappointing as im sure it expensive to repair.As well as being covered in chips. The bits that are chipped you can see how thin the paint is.

I think actuator arm piece must just go on the new one in the orientation in my picture. So transferring it from original may not matter. It might be the central position or rest position which allows it to do the full range of travel. I didn't really think about it as i just transferred it...

Did it just boot normally?. from the moment you push the power button just spam F8 and see it goes to the menu.

Could try pressing F8 while its booting and selecting safe mode .Failing that try to let it boot then shut it down before start up. Upon restart it will give you options to boot into safe mode with networking. once started in safe mode run malwarebytes and see what comes up.
