They were still in good condition when I sold them too, no leaks or anything after about 30,000kms.
Yea for the price they do a good job.
Yea they come in 275/40/19 or 285/35/19.
Mine are 285/35/20. Will be fitting 295 when these wear out, which will be a while. They’ve had a hard...
I’ve driven to and from the track a couple times on 18 inch MT street SS, about an hour trip, and it’s doable, but I wouldn’t recommend it. Very...
Yea I thought they were ok to be honest, until I got these lol. MCA’s will be great too. Hopefully get a chance to do another track day soon and...
Yea I did mate. Transformed the car. They don’t go quite as low as the XYZ, but still ok.
You can just say “Hey Siri” for the same effect as the steering wheel button.
Thanks bud! Na never got them engineered mate, wouldn’t think the car wouldn’t pass the emissions test on current cam on 98.
Haven’t thought about that. Have you tried this before?
It’s a shame because from what people have said the BMR gear makes a world of difference. Yea will see how we go mate.
Thanks mate. I have looked at some stuff from BMR in the US but they wanted crazy money for shipping. Do you know of anything locally?
Na no chiller mate. Can’t really justify the $6k at least for the set up I want. The car has enough power to run a 10, given the 131mph. Just need...
Manual? Getting stalled auto off the line bit easier than manual. Do they have remote dampening?
Video of best run so far. 11.259 @128.3mph, 1.721 60FT. A couple other runs were @131mph. I think it’s the stiff coilovers holding me back the...
Thanks will have a look
Old thread but where did you get this from? And is the centre vent piece real carbon? Thanks.
Thanks, had a look couldn’t find anything. Mods delete please.
Better late than never I suppose. I've never had it happen personally, but have read a lot about it.
They expect repairs to be carried out mid...
The bottom is actually leather, just not perforated like the sides.
Because I fucked up lol. I went off the design of one in the showroom. A day after driving it I wished I had done the whole thing in Alcantara....
Bloody thing cost me 2 grand. Can almost get a good custom made one for that price.
Not dead silent but shuts it up a bit. I wouldn’t drive with it shut, pretty restrictive.
Just handy for early starts.
I’ve got one on my cammed and supercharged VF, with Varex.
Not happy with it. The sound is tinny, not deep at all, even when fully open.
Ha yea not wrong.
I just got one put in. Even in normal driving shifting is much more enjoyable.
Shifts can be a little noisier, especially down changing at low...
Sits perfect now mate!
Ah ok, makes sense. the clutch is a Mantic twin plate. Never had any issues with it slipping. Will keep the burnout short next time.
The 275's on the 8 inch rims didn't go too good at Heathcote. I had less traction there than at Calder on the PS4S's. Best I could manage was 2...
Last time I was at Heathcote, would do burnout, then the car wouldn’t go into reverse. Car is manual.
Would have to get pushed back or turn the...
A mates already got them bud.
Went to Calder Park a few weeks ago on street tyres. Managed an 11.9 @126 with soft a launch and messed up 3rd to 4th a bit. 1.9 60ft. Both other...
I just can’t believe they didn’t re engineer the centre console. How bloody lazy. Would be a pain not to have anywhere to rest your left arm....
Pretty much agree with everything you said. Definitely looks like a FWD car, it could be driving in reverse and still look like it’s going...
God they are hideous.
He has L77, it has AFM hardware.
Not quite right, Drivers side valve cover breather requires fresh air as its a vaccum.
Here's a photo of mine when it still had all the AFM hardware like yours.
You got it right, and left one goes to clean air breather.
Was built by 360 gearboxes in Bayswater. It’s actually a “powertrax grip pro” same design as trutrac.
Not entirely happy with it. Works great...
