I'm using an Android app "car scanner" and a cheapy Bluetooth reader and can see freeze frame data no issues.
But yeah definitely depends on...
What are some of the of codes that were stored..do you remember any of them?
Do you know if they tested / activated the transmission solenoids with a scan tool?
Has the wiring been checked for any open circuits or short...
Does the check engine light come on when it shakes and if so have you read the DTCs?
Is it dual fuel or purely LPG?
How's the car drive? Any weird noises, clunks, rev flaring up or hesitant gear changes whilst driving?
Have you taken it to transmission...
I think this is the wrong eBay link for the battery
I have the same problem. I'm guessing a new head unit is required but I've just learnt to live with it and use the steering wheel control.
Have your calipers been serviced? Especially the slide pins. They should be smooth and without any abrasion or bumps.
Take them out check them....
1) probably unrelated. That sounds more of a transmission issue and as a starting point I would get that serviced...new filter...
Good to hear it was just that and nothing major. A simple service can make a massive improvement in many cases.
These are all GM OE parts
Complete Front control arm - 92250641 (L and R)
Rubber bush for control arm - 92159305 (L and R)
Complete Front Caster...
Welcome and hello from Australia.
If you pass on your VIN I'll see if I can get list of part numbers and you can find some online shops closer to...
Maybe you need to remove the chain timing covers and have a look and feel at the chains
You could also swap sensors from left to right and see if...
Hopefully the chains weren't just replaced by the mechanic on back of the shuddering issue in a hope that would fix it.
That sounds promising. Hopefully the transmission service did the trick
I've seen those adaptors help in the past because they have a mini cat in them so the sensor is fooled and it prevents those codes...
@ginga jimmy Do you have access to a scan tool.
If so, have you checked live data of O2 sensor voltages on all 4 sensors at idle and say 2500...
@Danielson1958 just wondering how you went with the car at the mechanic and or transmission specialist?
The KYB excel g shock is a little stiffer than standard but definitely not on the harsh side and people don't even notice the slight difference....
Fair enough...does the manual say anything about how to remove paired devices from the car?
Maybe the max number of phones are registered...
Is there any option to initiate the pairing from the head unit?
I'm not familiar with the early radios but in my 2011 I can press the config...
You could get yourself a turkey baster or some other syringe tool to suck out the fluid from the master cylinder. Then top up with new fluid then...
looks like there was another update in part numbers from October 2010. Newer part number is 92251463
Hopefully it stays that way. 92227831 is the correct GM part number anyway
Try hitting the seat a few times the next time it happens.
Sometimes on my car it does the same so I think the sensor gets into this weird state...
Wow!! That would have been a mission
You can barely see the nut from the top
I highly recommend you change both but this is entirely up to you.
Either way I would remove the bottom nuts on both sides even if you're only...
Yeah I've done mine.
Firstly Get good quality engine mounts like GM or Mackay or Kelpro
Some people might recommend you lower the sub frame but...
@VFSV6FORME pass on the last 8 digits of your VIN and check what GM part number pops up. I have a feeling it's 92227831
But there so many...
Are you aware of engineering mode..you can access battery voltage and charge through there
Anyway How'd you go with getting it looked at?
The eBay module is definitely looks newer.
20100422125520 looks like a time stamp i.e
Then time in hour, minutes and...
I'm pretty sure they only do the upper spring seat and not the lower insulator.
I take it you don't have a fault reader?
You could try disconnecting the battery for while and see if that changes anything
You could also...
Also might be worth checking the transmission mount and Engine mounts whilst you're there.
Yeah keep us posted as it would be good hear the outcome.
Also might be a good idea to change plugs soon as a maintenance thing
I believe the early VE models didn't have them but my 2011 definitely had them
GM part 92219527
The below was said by them which is pretty clear
"I replaced mine with a short piece of heavy wire with a male spade terminal on each end. This...
I can't think of anything else they can reset.
This so also possible by anyone who has a simple OBD code reader.
Cleaning the throttle body can be done by anyone with basic tools.
By resetting the PCM, did the mechanic just clear the DTC that was logged?
Separate names with a comma.
