build date says 5/9/88 Apparently i hear that the special orders for manual transmission, holden used the tranny out of the VL's? M78's.
nah says trans-M78. i remember when the car was purchased there was no manuals made for the vn v6 at the time and holden had to hurry to make one...
Does anyone know if its true that these rims are around the $4,500 mark new??
if anyone else has an original manual vn v6, can they check if the transmission number says M78 or T5? on the left hand side plaque of engine bay.

yep it says L302156 on the body number trans is an M78 (whatever that is) i thought the trans was a T5?? and build date is sep 88.
