I went the HPX pads on my Brembos. I put up with a few months of squealing rears until I went out and bought genuine Brembo pads. I wish I just...
My 16 Calais V didn’t either. My 17 Redline does though. I’d prefer my Calais wheel tbh
Something that I'm going to have to worry about as well. My fault for putting SSLs all round though.
Buy brand new and make the scratched one your spare?
No idea how to remove them. All I can imagine is me crying because I broke the first wheel I tried removing lol
Anyone modded their 1:18? :D
I’m thinking of swapping the wheels on my Redline to the Motorsport wheels since they’re basically the HF20s.
VFII Redline sedan. Got them off of ebay "Monroe Short Shocks"
edit: I have SSL's all round
I’m happy with my Monroe shocks.
Nice. Weird seeing the LSA engine cover in an SS
Still better than the Stang and VF though. As it should be.
I found the Mustangs interior to be a downgrade on the VF which surprised me. I’d love the tech though.
If you’re on Facebook go have a look at the Chevy SS group. A lot of the Americans have put 18’s on their SS.
22 inch wheels look god awful. Why ruin the car?
Apparently one of the problems was the glare and the lack of vision when it’s sunny. No software update can fix that.
Surely there’s someone (with a lot of time and money) putting an LT1 in their VF in the near future.
Also one of the things that have aged well...
Lol Lime Prime. Just call it Polish Dodo Juice.
awesome product. I drive my Redline almost daily and it holds up very well. I reapply every 10...
If you’re not driving it much I’d say a nice polish and wax.
I’ve been getting really good results from Dodo Juice.
Dodo Juice Lime Prime
Just out of interest, why are you not looking at the Calais V? Caprice V features in a shorter wheelbase car.
The quality of posts/posters these days seems to resemble 2020 Holden...
Aaaaaaaanyway. The Caprice is just too big IMO so I’d look at a Calais V
I see what your saying and I agree with it to an extent. I would argue that electric passenger seats should be standard in a nearly 60k car though.
Speaking of seats. The HSV foams would be a nice little upgrade. Similar to what @villn808 has done in his SS.
Just have that brake foot ready :)
with the dipping mirrors, front sensors and reverse camera they’re pretty easy to park anyway. It only takes a...
Self parking is fun. Mind you my old Calais tried to put me in a curb. I did have different wheels and suspension though so I’m not sure if I...
So you’ve come in over 2 hours after he replied to me just to reiterate what he said. What did you want to achieve with this post?
Soooo you’ve decided to post on this thread despite the fact it doesn’t really answer any of the questions in the OP. Cool
My Redline II
Update for my link: there’s still no ideal solution to this Kayhan seemed like the best choice but thanks to some reviews on here...
I’m sure there’s a lot of us on here that are quite happy with our VF’s being our long term car. My question is. What would bring the VF up to...
If it’s not a RWD V8 then keep it dead.
No they’re not. In fact they have their first race of 2020 this weekend...
We all saw it coming. When the VF stopped production my interest in Holden dwindled. I’m interested to see what happens with the Supercars
Every time he touches the AC it changes back to the old interface. It looks like 2 different operating systems in one. Not a fan.
Seems like a random has put up a post for you.
maybe a post on the VF club Facebook page. I’m sure someone there would jump on
If you’re used to driving a VF I’m thinking you’ll be very disappointed with the FG. The VF is in a different league as far as driving and...
Pretty sure only the black HF20’s had the option to be staggered as well.
I think the ride isn’t too different at all. It depends if you get cheap nasty tyres or not.
no worries. I was lucky enough to have a good mate who is a painter. He painted stuck the stickers on (eBay) then clear coated.
Yep. It was Capricorn mica (dark green) with the beige interior. Ended up with the SS Bodykit and wheels on it. It was pretty cool until the LS1...
Speaking of weird things from the factory. Back in the day my parents bought a new VT exec with the 195kw HSV engine in it.
I agree. The King Spring/Monroe combination is good. Looks better and isn’t too harsh.
Separate names with a comma.
