    The crank bolt isn’t touching the balancer though. Wouldn’t I need a longer crank bolt not shorter? And it’s solid on there I highly doubt I couldn’t get it off by hand would it be worth trying to pull it off from the outside of the balancer but on the inside or will I shatter the balancer?

    Yeah I ended up getting it. What I did was undid the sway bar there is a 13mm bolt where you can't see then moved it got a 3/8" ratchet and used the pole from the jack which was a very tight fit and with some fiddling I got it. Thanks for all your help guys
