they are quite easy to replace, my calais one went on me, a word of warning as soon as it starts to act up get it replaced! You have to unlock it to get the barrel out of the column, its a piece of cake when you can remove it.

depends what you look at they werent in every model, the Calais and whatnot tend to go for more obviously ;)

Its not possible either way as the headlight housing was never designed for the focal point of a HID bulb, halogen and HID's are very different in design and focus points.

They are illegal as already said unless you have cleaning systems fitted and whatnot. Though saying that i have seen 2 VT's with them using monaro projectors and they had almost no glare, very impressive for a halogen projector.

The whole blower casing is different, the blower intake is off to the side more to suit the elbow.

yes that is correct, however the M62 is a much smaller blower and pritty much useless lol. The one in the picture is definately a M90.

Torque management is stepping in probably, might need a tune...

Has nothing to do with VN-VR models or anything they were never even supercharged, the supercharger you brought is from the USA, their engines are mounted sideways because they are front wheel drive, it will be a hell of a job getting it in our engine bays.

It sounds very familiar to me, it could either be your torque converter dropping in or out or if the car has been tuned it could be too little fuel in lean cruise.

YT dont make 1.97 as far as i know, biggest is 1.95. Should be fine with 160,000km on it.

You cant judge the performance from that video, i saw a 2000rpm stall which would have caused alot of wheel spin and as a result the speedo needle would shoot up.

Yup higher lift rockers are the way to go, the split ratios have a higher lift in the exhaust to help balance out the flow and get rid of the exhaust gases. ANY power figures you read on FIT vs YT rockers is just bull, they have never been directly compared. That said i would expect more gain...

Nope theres no issues with casting no mine, YT supply thinner rods anyway to help clear anything in there.

Theres no chance of loosing the rods all they do is slide out of the holes and you drop the new ones into place...

I retorqued mine after about 2000k, everything was still as tight as the day i did it :)

No grease just put some oil in a squeeze bottle and get the pushrods, bearings, pushrod cups etc... Basically yeah you want the valves closed and the rockers sitting down. Remove the fuel pump fuse, EFI fuse and ignition fuse or the spark plug leads if you want .

The instructions make it look quite complicated but when i did it i just just removed all the rockers on 1 bank, fitted the guide plate, put the new rockers on, did them up finger tight then torqued them down to 25ft/lb, cranked the motor a few times with no spark or fuel and torqued them again...

YT will give you the correct advice, just speak to mark or something :)

once you take the rockers off the pushrods simply slide out of the holes, then you slide the new ones in. Its an easy task but make sure you have a torque wrench, i got a $50 one from supercheap and its never let me down. Remember to preoil everything like the roller tips, push rods and bearings...

Yeah thats the right price mine were $699 for split ratio 1.9/1.95's you will be fine as they come with thinner push rods aswell.
