If its under warranty, id pop by Holden and see if they can fix it. Perhaps at your next service if you service it with them? Im not sure if there is much you can do, I for one wouldnt pull the seat apart anyways.

I disconnected the drivers side, if you follow the seat belt buckle down the side of the seat there are 2 connectors. One of them was the sensor lead for someone being in the seat, you could check both are clipped in properly.

the resonance im experiencing is something out of balance, most likely the torque converter because it is happening at just above idle. when the aircon is on, the bumps up the rpm into that resonance zone, and yes it the car does shutter then.

my v6 SII does the same, anywhere from 70km/h upwards, significantly worse when driving into the wind. Its literally like someone has taped a whistle to the car.

Sounds like Holden changed it intentionally to force you to go to them, and hand over another 100 bucks. I wonder how all the after market towbar suppliers our there are getting around this. Highly doubt they will install their towbar, and drop the car off at holden for you included in the price.
