Thank you for this info. I have been trying to find a wiring diagram to locate the earthing wire for the fans at the BCM without any luck.Yes the 5 pin relay is ok.

The sensor I replaced was the clip plug one under the thermostat housing.

Have tried everything I can think of to find out why my fans don,t come on as they used to when my a/c starts. Can anyone tell me what components tell the fans to start at a/c start. Thanks

Thanks Bom. Pardon my ignorance. I am abit of a dummy when it comes to motor cars. I guess a BCM is the computer LH passanger side. Sorry Som not Bom

Thanks Have not tried another fan because if I disconnect the coolant temp sensor and start the motor the fans come on after about 10 seconds. I would then assume the fans are ok and have changed the coolant temp sensor
