Black Rims on Yellow Brembos on my old VE SSV! Looked pretty sweet.

Sure did. I used a custom made 3mm spacer to suit VE hubs - to ensure no vibrations. It was more the BC10's spoke design which caused the clearance issue, rather than the offset (the fronts were +35). Either way the wagon was recently sold! So sadly I do not own this vehicle anymore.

Like brasher said, just drill out the knuckles with an M14 drill piece and bolt them up! They pull up great too.

20x9" at 35 offset the fronts! :)

Finally got around to getting new braided brake lines, a re-bleed, and oil/filter change; now have the brake pedal feel I was hoping for. The brake set-up seriously rips your eye balls out!! However.... Car is now for sale due to changing family and work commitments; car does not get used at...

Test fitted the 20 x 10" +35 rears.... close but should be fine? Still need to get guards rolled though. Yeap... Took out on the driveway.... fronts without spacers. I guess the wheel design/spokes is the impeding factor. Bit of paint off the edge of caliper. So hoping custom 3mm...

The wheels are Bavaria BC10's 20" staggered. More photos - all done, just need braided lines and maybe another bleed!

Getting there slowly. Just need some braided lines, rear guards rolled to accommodate the new wheels (and get some rubber), new wheel nuts, and spacers in the front as the rims just rub the calipers.

New Wheels & Brakes all finally arrived, now to get off my ass and get it all installed etc. Staggered Rims 20x9" and 20x10" Front 6 Piston Calipers & Slotted Rotors Rear 4 Piston Calipers & Slotted Rotors Front Brake Pads vs Rear Brake Pads - The 6 Piston Caliper's pads are massive!

I also recommend Power Torque Engines - they did all the engine work and tuning on my MY12 SSV Sportwagon and all servicing; could not be happier with their work.

I reckon your car sounds awesome, and would be even better in the flesh. It is loud enough and the idle is noticeably cammed. I bet it would sound like a beast under full throttle too. I have similar modifications and all the work done by PTE at Brendale, and mine sounds pretty similar to...
