it sounds pretty standard, strut top mounts, engine mounts are made of rubber that'll eventually crack or get oil soaked. i gotta do mine indicators not orange enough - buy orange bulbs rear tint bubbling - heat gun, pull it off yourself then get some goo remover to get all the glue off

It allows p platers to drive things like diesel's, VW turbo's/sc's, cruze etc which they are small capacity forced induction with the goal of fuel economy, not outright power. why would you restrict a p-plater from driving a 1.4l skoda turbo, just because its FI? but then it also stops...

NSW laws are changing anyway.... allowing p platers to drive forced induction and v8, so long as it doesn't exceed 130kw per tonne (factory). no mods. VU SS is still out = 146kw per tonne factory I reckon as a result though the 5.0l will regain some popularity with youngins... 175kw-195kw...

you've probably already realised, but as soon as pull the key out, it will need another 2 hours in the ignition to start again. you will need to take to holden or tech2 to override immobiliser.

as silly as it sounds, check that your battery is secured. i was having the same issue that was annoying me for ages. it turned out that the battery would slide towards the motor when i gave it the boot or quickly went around corners, and the positive terminal was arc'ing against a nearby...

i usually get to about 500km from a full tank before needing to refil, the light pops on about 450, so yeah, your consumption does seem excessive. I do predominantly town driving. check your tire pressure. are you using 95 or 98ron?

update: thankfully the 2 hour immobilser override worked, i was worried that i bricked my car at my parents house and would need to pay for a tow. there's a dealership just up the road from where i live, so booked in for a quote and tech2 review. what a goddamn waste of money this is going...
