hey thanks all those who have helped, i will use the syringe and suck some out, by the way i have not changed the brake fluid/brake pads, i bought the car ages ago before my p'plates, but since school has finished i started driving it and now just noticed a couple of issues.

Opened up and checked the brake fluid, above the max line and color is green. Perhaps it leaking due to it being over the max line btw this is not while the car is turned on, would the brake fluid levels go down while the car is operating?
