Okay so l think l have it sorted, l noticed a small leak out of one of the radiator hoses hidden down below the brake hydraulic system. This has slowly drained the radiator and both my attempts to fully prime the system has failed. I noticed the temp guage spike up then down assuming this was...

Ive had a look for leaks and couldnt find anything, oil looks okay, l ran the motor for about 15min trying to fill radiator up, l had the car on a bit of an upward slope and thought l got all the air out. Could it overheat by not bleeding the system properly ?

Have replaced thermostat, new waterpump, new cap topped her up but still boils on about a 18km trip. Running out of ideas, could it possibly be radiator problems ? If so how would l test for this ? Thanks in advance

Thanks for replies guys actually haven't done much of the above but the ignition barrel went a while ago . Have bought a water pump and will buy a new fuel pump and changing the radiator lines makes good sense cheers

Yep thanks mate I reckon that's it the very tip of the shaft with the spring is broken off I had a look in the column slot but couldn't see it anywhere hope it doesn't clog it up

The key doesn't go through the click stages it still turns but won't engage the motor , the ignition is permanently on ,have to pull the terminal off to cut the power. I pulled the barrel out but it still turns I don't think that's the problem . Anyone got any clues as to what it may be cheers

Hi Guys just bought a VT and the air only comes out of the demister vent and nowhere else when i turn the dial could this just be a faulty dial ? Thanks for any info
