Harness behind the dash - the blue tape is covering a bunch of soldered connections presumably from a previous head unit install. What is the white connector in the background?

    Parts catalogue?

For most of the "exotic" cars I've owned over the years I've been able to get an illustrated parts list on CD/DVD. Now I have a Holden and I can't find such a thing. Is there a parts list out there somewhere?

Trying to identify parts (maybe HVAC?)

Thanks - I was in there yesterday and wondered if it should be so empty under there. Removed a mile of redundant wiring from the radio system, car probably weighs a lot less now.

Trying to identify parts (maybe HVAC?)

Was lying in the tray of my Cross8 - where does it come from?

[VY] How to change transmission filter and fluid.

Just doing this on my CX8, found that there's a couple of bolts just behind the rear of the pan which hold on an exhaust bracket. With them in place the pan would not drop out. As for the lack of a drain plug that seems to be normal for most auto trans. My previous car, an Audi A6 V8, had the...

    VB Airconditioning

I had a VB about 25 years ago. It was a very early one and the A/C switch was a rotary one on the dash below the steering wheel. Later VBs, as I recall, had a little rocker switch at the RH end of the centre section of the dash. So I'm pretty sure that there were two kinds of system fitted to...

VZ auto gear shift lever broken

The gear shift lever in my Crewman has broken at the base, so I need to replace it. I've got almost everything out, and the car can still be driven - I just select gears without the benefit of a lever. I'm sorting out a replacement tomorrow, but in the meantime I need to figure out how to remove...

Ignition controlled power source near rear view mirror?

Any idea which of the 3 wires showing 12V this might be? Seems even opening the door turns it on and I don't have 30 minutes spare to sit in a locked car with no radio on.

Ignition controlled power source near rear view mirror?

I found the constant 12v, didn't realise it gets killed after 30 minutes. Thanks.

Ignition controlled power source near rear view mirror?

I'm trying to find an ignition controlled power source near rear view mirror on my Cross 6 - I'm going to put in a USB power outlet for Bluetooth/GPS/crash-cam. Where's the nearest source? I'm resigned to having to run wire up a screen pillar, but would like to minimise any other delving behind...

bought a vz came with only one key

It's one of those keys that has to be programmed to the car - so far as I know only a dealer can do it and it *only* costs ~$190. Had one made up recently. My wife's Renault will carry on with one key - cost is about $300 and it has to be ordered from the factory for your specific car - and then...

    Vz crewman room

Apart from wagons-without-a-roof-over-the-load-area (i.e. Ssangyongs), all twin cab utes are hideous to ride in for rear passengers. I was looking at Crewman as well as the standard Ute and went for the ute because there's not a lot of choice out here in the sticks. The attraction of the...
