Mate I didn't ask the question for a lecture I was a hoon when I 1st got my license yes however the last couple of fines I've received which are resulting in my disqualification haven't been for anything stupid
My mate who's helping is a diesel mechanic but he's converted his Ford to manual never done a Holden but he's pritty sure it fits in as it should and it looks right to me aswell
I'm in the process of converting my car to manual it's a vz ss L76 and I was told I'd need a new tailshaft however the auto 1 seems to fit fine can somebody clear this up please
Ok cheers I do a few trips away that's why I was thinking 3.9 instead of 4.11 but ive never been in a car with 4.11s and ok cheers ill have a look at that

Yea ok cheers its slowly gotten worse over time and I would've fixed it straight away however just purchased a 6 speed and the other parts just need to source a tailshaft and ecu then going to convert and was planning on getting diff gears at the same time so figured id just get a new diff...
Nah im no mechanic sorry guys but its Auto at the moment we are converting it to manual but the auto has just been all rebuilt with shift kit so it isn't that and the tailshaft has just been looked at and they replaced that rubber coupling (not sure the proper name) so I think the bearings in...
Cheers guys I always thought they were the goods aswell I rekn thats the way ill go it only has a standard diff in there at the moment and yea its only for street use im planning on adding abit of power but nothing to drastic at this stage

Sorry if this has been asked if I buy 1 of the clusters with the 3 screens can I get the ks my car has programmed in to it?

Yea the only issue I had doing mine was getting the old 1 out I had the coat hanger and took my old VT one out a few times no worries but for some reason my VZ one was hard as hell to get out I gave up a cpl of times but persisted and it finally moved

You can get a screen and buy a fascia to fit around it to look somewhat standard and you can buy harnesses for easy wiring so not to hard

Yes I did read you're post there are usually people who disagree so was just asking... so if I add some forced induction it would be worth it but otherwise dont bother

Is it beneficial to get your car tuned for E85? Or no real advantage I did read the posts but still unsure

Yea I guess it's like everything else really I just think better off getting diff gears I think stally is a bit much for road use

Yea I doubt those 2 would try Munno Parra Breaks and Suspension they do exhausts im pritty sure they might bolt it up for u

I wldn bother with a stall converter for a street car I went the road of doing a shift kit and strengthening the box and now im converting to manual anyway the auto just isn't the same

Probably would get a better noise getting a good stereo recording a V8 Supercar hot lap and play that on loop as you drive
