    Correct, but different material between the two, cometic is 100% steel whereas nitro has a bit of rubberish to it.

    water pump is now in the car but it's a vy, Vz, Vt and Vx (5.7l, 6.0l)water pump. it fits perfectly and is it the same internals as the ls3 pump. Thanks

    thanks mate, had a look at the hose to radiator and reservoir tank and was good. A blocked radiator won't cause that bubbling effect on the reservoir? Wouldn't that be more of the water pump?

    Took the car to couple of mechanics today and was told it could be a blocked radiator where as another said it may be the water pump. Another said 100% it's the radiator cap, so bought another radiator cap and same issue.... head scratching now.
