Yep, replaced larger one few months ago and relays. Thats why im thinking the impellor vanes.

Is it possible that the impellor can wear? Done thermostat, new OEM coolant, hoses etc are spotless, no scale, so not thinking radiator. Only after driving to the city, 260kms, does it start to overheat soon as i slow for lights etc, around town is fine.

Mine did the same, used synthetic 80/140 and tha additive, all gone. Some say you dont need the additive, 70 bucks for 100ml lol

Might have found rattle. WK LS1, power steer pump pulley has a few mill of play, leaks a bit to but presume usual hoses etc, to much play?

WK Caprice LS1. Long story short, thought lifters, but doesnt do it when its idling first thing in mornings, exhaust? Just got extractors cats etc and whole sytem checked, all good . Noticed today when started it, no rattling until i put it in reverse!!! Drivin me mad!!! Ideas?

Got the same, lazy lifter/s, exhaust gasket blowin, i tried heavier oil, lifter stuff etc, its annoying but not real bad, im going to do the exhaust gaskets to see if that works

I got a OTRCAI, mail order tune and what a HUGE differece, cost me 750 for both, runnin great after 3000kms, hway gettin 8.8 at 100kph, 9.2 at 110 or 9.6 doin 125 odd.

Got the same in WK LS1, twice flushed oil n filter with factory spec oil, 10-40 or 5-40, same now using penrite, 20-60, still tappin, horror of horrors even tried Lifter free stuff in bottle, which worked for 5 mins, no biggie ive been told, wait till ireally need to pull the heads then change them.
