I only joined up a couple days ago do looking round on the site for tips of things I want to do to my vz..looking at pulling all the aircrnt out and using some red led strip I have to illuminate the air vents

Also would it be possible to add the photos back on,it says they have been moved/deleted

This should help me when I finally get some time off to try this stuff. I'll be looking to put red led's behind my air vents but the repair/rebuild manual I have has nothing about the air vents in it.. Thanks

Ok well if I do undertake the project it wouldn't be for a couple years (money) but I'm getting my full license in just under a month and just brought this as a family car till the mrs gets a license and car...this is a much better family car compared to the 2 door excel I had lol

cool guys, after trying to find this thread since i put it up and finally just found it :\ i did mean the VY SS and not just the standard vy front end, i was looking at that simply cause i think it looks a bit more aggressive then the vz and like the separate "teardrop" parker light set up on...

Sorry for being a bit clueless but what is that? I used to have a Hyundai excel so not to sure on all the computers in newer cars :/

Just wondering if the klms on the clusters stay there or if they are electronically controlled.. Would it be possible if anyone knows how to do it if I supply a cluster and give them some cash for the troubles?

Hey thanks for the post on the thread.. Just wonder and to make sure I read it and and understand it correctly.. Were you willing to post out a VZ commodore cluster for me try soldering and changing out the lights from green to red? If that is the case thanks muchly..i was bout to go to the...

Just tried finding the lights them selves..I can only find them as a bulb or strip set up..would I need to cut one of ten up or would anyone know where I can buy some?

Ahk cool, I've done some electronics a while ago so I might try it out on a spare or on a bulb that wouldn't be used much :P

Just wondering, if I want to change out the green backlighting to something different like blue or red, do I follow most of these steps and pull the bulbs out an swap them after I pull the dials ad face plates of the speedo ect off? Also would you know how many of which bulbs would I need? Like...

Hey I'm new to this site so I hope I'm doing this right... I've got a 2006 VZ wagon and I'm looking to change the front to the VY SS front end..would anyone know how to do this/ what would be needed it if it would be easier/cheaper to find a front cut and marry the two up? Cheers for any help
