The attached picture is all that I pulled out of the car. On the OBD connector is has the company CALAMP written on it and the thin cable is the GPS antenna. It was all mounted in the battery box area of in the rear cargo area.

It was definitely a GPS tracker. I googled the company that was written on the OBD connector. I also pulled the main unit apart and found a nano sim card and a micro SD card slotted into the back of the main circuit board.

Thanks. I am told that the tow bar is a Hayman Reese (from the Hayman Reese factory) with all the specs of one with the GM plate riveted on to it. The wiring harness and canbus module on the other hand, I’m not sure of.
