    I reckon if holden reflashes the O/S into the PCM so the history of engine lights disappears that might solve the problem. If they do that and the light comes back on then there is a definite issue that needs to be fixed.

    KPM Cats are 100Cell. 100 cells smell, even on a stock cam unfortunately. Go for 200 cell hi flow cats and there will be a significant improvement. I've had both.

    Well I'll add Autowerks to my list of "avoid all together" tuners in Sydney then when it comes to non standard camshafts. The only shops left on my "could be worth a try" list are Autotech Engineering, Winmalee Car Care, LSX Tuning and Russo's.

Drill a hole in the throttle butterfly and add a ton of fuel to attempt to mask either their inability or just laziness because the 2 hours they allocated for effectively your thousand bucks eats...

    Yup, their being bullish on them now that's for sure. If you don't want to pay that and not use TTY bolts from holden you can source metric grade 10.9 bolts outside holden and they have the benefit of being re-usable. Just remember to put some locktight on them. Rears VE or VF brembo caliper...

    I did 9 emergency stops back to back from 120kmph to 5kmph straight back up to 120 etc on my T3 4000's with hawk HPS pads and no fade. There was smoke but the pedal was still excellent. I was also using braided lines and EBC racing fluid at the time which may have helped (brembo's front and rear)

    The 2017's HSV's have that recalibrated bimodal opening earlier. I have heard one, much more meaty than the pre 2017 R8 LSA's. You may find you "can live with it". Then again you may get a hard on for more power too and slap and airpod, pulley and tune on it too LOL!!! ENJOY!!!

    Not a problem in terms of wheel fitment and offset ect. You shouldn't have any dramas with guards. As for wheel nuts, I looked up a photo of the wheels you are considering purchasing and I can't be certain but i'm 90% that you will need new different nuts to suit that application.

    Geez, I think I paid $1800 sup and fitted for Koni adjustables and Kings at Sydney Suspension at Penrith though I wouldn't go there again. I would only now go to Pedders at Hornsby. Dave there is manager and know's VE's and VF really well. You can trust what he advises.

    If it's terminal I suppose he could also put a crate LS3 ($7,990 at Holmart for the engine) in it and then sell off the blower for 5K and everything else that's salvageable and minimise his losses that way - would mean no more charger though.

    They add fuel to try and mask issues that they either (a) don't have the ability to resolve or (b) aren't willing to put the time into it to get it right. Adding fuel won't necessarily fix it, it may mask it a bit that's all. Been on that merrygoaround before, not fun.

    Yeah - 1 degrees of overlap re blower friendly. Sounds like it works really well in N/A form too if its responsive from that sort of RPM. Congratulations on that! VCM don't seem to advertise the ICL of their cams but it would be really interesting to know how much advance it has, if any.
